Penn State Hazleton will hold information sessions and entrance exams for the practical nursing program. The 18-month evening and weekend program prepares individuals with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes essential for practical nursing practice and the knowledge necessary to pass the NCLEX-PN.
As students begin gearing up for their spring break travels, the University is reminding travelers to take precautions to stay healthy and avoid illnesses.
THON 2020 will begin on Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center at the University Park campus. The three dancers representing Penn State Hazleton during the 46-hour fundraising event are Meghann Principe, Christine Turse and Camille Principe.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on March 7. Tickets are available for $17.50 through the Hazleton, Schuylkill, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton chapters of the Penn State Alumni Association, which are sponsoring the event.
