Ready to find your fit at Penn State Hazleton? Our Admissions Office hosts a variety of events for prospective students and their families to learn more about the Penn State Hazleton experience!

Upcoming Events

The Office of Admissions is available for one-on-one personal virtual appointments. Prospective students and families can register for a personal virtual visit or contact us for additional information. We look forward to meeting you! 

Penn State Hazleton Application & FAFSA Workshop
Monday, April 10
4 to 6 p.m.

Join us at the Hazleton LaunchBox and jumpstart your journey to becoming a Penn Stater. Enjoy snacks, games, giveaways, an get all of your questions answered by staff. We will also waive your application fee through your MyPennState account for visiting with us!

You will also have the opportunity to begin filling out your FAFSA form for financial aid. Make sure to have a FSA ID and tax information available.

If you would like to complete the Self-Reported Academic Record potion of the application, please be sure to bring an unofficial copy of your high school transcript (online access to your school's grade portal will be sufficient as well).

Reservations are required for these sessions and they tend to fill quickly.

Campus Visits

Experience Penn State Hazleton and see why our campus is a great fit for you! 

Led by our student Lion Ambassadors, your visit will include a tour of our beautiful 125-acre campus, state-of-the-art facilities, residence halls (if applicable) and a stop at our popular Nittany Lion shrine!

We offer several types of visits for you to choose from Monday through Friday (and select Saturdays):

Penn State Hazleton - Campus Visit Opportunities

  • Prospective student visits (Noon and 2 p.m.)
  • Prospective student-athlete visits (Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.)

Reservations are required and tend to fill up quickly. Sign up today!

Preparing for your visit:

  • When you arrive on campus: Please follow the signs to Lot D and park in or near the Visitor Parking spaces. Parking is free and a permit is not required. Check in at the Admissions Office in Schiavo Hall, located by the Nittany Lion shrine.
  • Canceling your visit: You may cancel or reschedule your visit online by clicking on the "Edit my Registration" button at the bottom of your confirmation email. If your event is within 24 hours, please call our office at 570-450-3142 to cancel or reschedule.

Virtual Personal Visits

You have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with your admissions counselor directly from the comfort of your own space. Our Admissions and Student Aid team is here to help you every step of the way.
