Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Admissions to Penn State
We have received a number of messages from our applicants and admitted students regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We want you to know we are thinking about you during this time.
Penn State Hazleton and all of Penn State University wants to help support our future students impacted by the outbreak. We understand that fulfilling all parts of the application process may be difficult at this time, so we will remain flexible. We are here to help you as you work through the application process for Penn State. Please be assured that your health and safety, and the health and safety of the entire Penn State community is of utmost importance to us.
To that end and with an abundance of caution in protecting all members of the Penn State community, Penn State has announced that all activities relating to Admitted Student Programs, Prospective Student events, and campus visitation will be suspended through August 31. Penn State Hazleton is offering individual virtual appointments for students and their families. To register for a virtual appointment, please visit https://apply.psu.edu/portal/hn-appt. We will be reaching out to admitted students in the coming weeks about a virtual Accepted Student Program in lieu of the original April 4 program.
