Spring 2020 Virtual Commencement Celebration
Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 3 p.m.
A virtual ceremony celebrating the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2020 took place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. Graduates and their families joined together online as Penn State Hazleton leadership recognized them on this important occasion.
Immediately following the formal congratulatory remarks, all graduates were invited to socialize with faculty, members of the Hazleton campus community, at virtual receptions hosted by degree program coordinators.
Until we can celebrate together, this virtual commencement was the first step in recognizing the Class of 2020 for its accomplishments. Penn State remains committed to marking this milestone with students and their families when public health guidelines allow.
All diplomas are mailed directly to the students' homes following the ceremony.
