Congratulations on nearing this milestone in your Penn State journey. Before you can graduate, please review these necessary steps to make sure you're ready:
- Meet with your adviser: Are you missing any course, credit or grade requirements? Before declaring your intent to graduate, make sure you are on track to meet with the requirements of your degree. Request a degree audit through LionPATH and review it with your academic adviser during the semester prior to when you plan to graduate.
- Declare your intent to graduate: It's up to you to notify the University of your intent to graduate. In LionPath, visit Degree Planning and Progress -> Apply for Graduation and submit your application at the beginning of the semester in which you plan to graduate. Check the Office of the Registrar for the Academic Calendar to determine the dates when you can apply. (View a tutorial on applying for graduation.)
- Check your address: Important graduation information will be mailed to you, so make sure your address is current in LionPATH.
- View Graduation Status: To check the status of your intent to graduate, visit the "View Graduation Status" in LionPATH.
