Alyssa Schuetrum has been appointed student aid coordinator at Penn State Hazleton, Chancellor Gary M. Lawler announced. She will oversee the campus’ process of awarding student aid, including grants, loans, scholarships and awards.
A scholarship program funded by the estate of Penn State Hazleton advocate and longtime philanthropist Pasco L. Schiavo has been established at the campus to support first-year, baccalaureate degree-seeking students.
Penn State Hazleton will host an SAT prep course for high school students beginning Monday, June 28. Classes will be held on campus from 6-8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays through Aug. 16.
