Between free tutoring, various club and organization offerings, career services, and research opportunities, we're here to support you with any endeavor contributing to your success.
We're prepared for you
We’re helping to make sure you have access to everything you need to make this important decision, from information about our COVID response to virtual visits that connect you to current students, faculty and staff who can help answer questions. Ask us questions like "What type of resources are available for my academic success?" or "How can I make a positive impact on my Penn State and local community?" and we'll guide you on your path of purpose.
We'll meet you where you are
Penn State Hazleton’s is dedicated to keeping our students, staff and faculty safe from COVID-19. Our campus has successfully navigated the fall semester and we’ve been able to offer our students the option of how they would like to attend class. So whether our students selected in-person, remote, or a hybrid instruction model, they're receiving an education that’s ranked as one of the top in the world. That option continues this semester, too.
You should also know that you can complete your associate or bachelors degree here, or you can complete the first two years of study of a bachelor's program and then finish at another campus, like University Park, through the 2+2 plan.
Whichever option you choose, while you are here, you'll enjoy small class sizes, talented and caring faculty and staff, and a host of campus life opportunities.
We're always improving
Our campus has undergone many exciting changes over the past several years. Major renovations were completed to the Kostos Building, with the addition of new labs, classrooms and technology amenities. A $7.6 million renovation was also completed in fall 2020 on Lofstrom Library, which now houses more collaboration spaces for students to work in groups, two maker spaces, a new Math Dimension and a career closet.
