A new bachelor of science degree in information technology will be offered beginning in the fall 2021 semester. The degree will replace the existing bachelor of science degree in information sciences and technology, which will be phased out over the next four years.

Shara McCallum, 2021-22 Penn State Laureate and Edwin Erle Sparks Professor of English, will visit Penn State Hazleton to read from her works and host a Q&A session on Thursday, Oct. 21. The event, which will take place at 12:15 p.m. in 115 Evelyn Graham Academic Building, is free and open to the public.
