Admission to Penn State programs and campus locations depends on the academic program you choose, the space availability, and the quality of your high school academic records. First-year decisions are based on:
- Final grades in academic subjects in ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades
- Standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) submitted electronically
- SAT Code – 2660
- ACT Code – 3656
- Class rank
- Advanced placement and honors courses
- Required high school courses
Approximately two-thirds of the evaluation is based on your high school grades and one-third is based on a combination of your class rank, standardized test scores, and advanced placement and honors courses.
