This week, we recognize five Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University.

Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form. For more information about the process, visit the "We Are!" guidelines

This week, it's thank you to:

Christine Ostrosky, at Penn State Hazleton, whose nominator wrote: "Christine exemplifies what it means to provide superior customer service to her students in the residence halls. She is always willing to help a student or staff member out with a question and will do so with a smile on her face!"

Kara Mild, at Penn State Shenango, whose nominator wrote: "Truly embodying what Penn State wants to see of its graduates, this extremely intelligent and ethical woman is an unforgettable force in healthcare in the valley and one of our most beneficial professors herein. She goes above and beyond in all she does."

Kathy Matts, at Penn State DuBois, whose nominator wrote: "Kathy is the bursar at Penn State DuBois, a difficult position. She is friendly, easy-going and pleasant to all who meet her. She has gone out of her way to counsel students who didn't realize how much their tuition bill would cost. Kathy does an outstanding job."

Pamela Wertz, in the College of Engineering, whose nominator wrote: "Pam is doing an outstanding job in 'letting the world know about Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering's hard work and successes.' We are fortunate to have Pam work for our department!... Way to go Pam!!!! "

Jane Brady, at Penn State Behrend, whose nominator wrote: "Jane Brady is Penn State Behrend's registrar and our LionPATH 'change champion.' She has spent countless hours providing information, answering questions and troubleshooting. Her patience, positive attitude, follow-through and integrity are what make her Behrend's best!"
