Where do students register?
Students must register on the Undergraduate Research website by completing the Registration Form. Each student will be asked to select their research area (STEM, Humanities and Social Science or Arts). An abstract of their work is also required.
What are the requirements for posters or oral presentations?
Posters should each consist of 9 panels of standard 8 ½” by 11” paper, each glued onto a blue poster board background or be printed on a plotter (a large format printer) in one piece. Students may also choose a 48" by 36" landscape-style poster. Files may be uploaded in any format. Specific poster instructions to follow.
When do students need to be present for their poster or talk?
Students are required to present their posters in the Lofstrom Library during the week of April 3 to April 7. Judges will be evaluating the posters based on content and presentation quality. Please set up your posters by 8:30 a.m. on Monday, April 3, and take them down by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 10. Posters should be displayed on provided poster boards. Students may additionally use multimedia such as laptops or projectors, if needed.
