Penn State Hazleton planning STEM research fair for high schoolers

High school students studying science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) are invited to participate in Penn State Hazleton’s fifth annual STEM Research Fair. The event will be held Saturday, March 23, in the Evelyn Graham Academic Building on campus and is open to all students in ninth through 12th grades throughout the region.

Presentation, vigil on LGBT+ homeless youth planned

The National Center for Equality and Innovation and Penn State Hazleton’s Office of Student Engagement will host a presentation on LGBT+ homeless youth and the challenges they face, followed by a tealight vigil, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 28, in Penn State Hazleton’s Evelyn Graham Academic Building.
