In partnership with Adobe, Penn State provides access to Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) at no additional cost to all Penn State students and faculty members. Among the over 20 industry-leading creative tools included in Adobe CC suite of products are PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign, Premiere, Spark and more.
Penn State Hazleton is offering a program in Clinical Medical Assisting, which combines classroom and clinical instruction to provide students with the necessary education and skills to work in numerous health care settings.
Students at Penn State Hazleton are looking to help those in the community with disabilities or age-related physical challenges. Penn State in Motion is a free interactive learning program between community members and students in the Rehabilitation and Human Services program at the campus. Local participants are being sought from the Hazleton area.
Penn State Hazleton students are invited to a special dinner to learn more about business etiquette in formal and informal settings. The etiquette dinner will be held at 4:30 p.m. March 20 in the Slusser/Bayzick Black Box Theater.
The Greater Hazleton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will host photos with the Easter Bunny and Nittany Lion from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on March 20.
Andrew Belser, the Penn State laureate for the 2017-18 academic year, will visit Penn State Hazleton from March 14 to 16. His visit will include a display of his “FaceAge” project that is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be set up in the lobby of the Evelyn Graham Academic Building.
Penn State Hazleton will hold information sessions for its practical nursing program from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, March 5, and from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4.
