Open House to be held June 28 at Penn State Hazleton

Penn State Hazleton contributed $36.4 million to the Pennsylvania economy in FY 2017, and supported, directly and indirectly, 558 Pennsylvania jobs, according to a new study released Feb. 26 by Penn State that focused on measuring the University’s impact in communities across the Commonwealth.

HAZLETON, Pa. — Prospective students and their families are invited to visit Penn State Hazleton for an on-campus open house at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28.

The open house will include information on the baccalaureate and associate degree programs that can be completed at Penn State Hazleton, and the more than 275 Penn State degrees that can be started at Hazleton and completed at University Park or another Penn State campus.

Participants will also learn about tuition and financial aid, ways to get involved on campus, and more. The visit concludes with a tour led by the campus’ student Lion Ambassadors.

Attendees will have their Penn State application fee waived.
