Christopher Kostelnik will supervise the campus residence hall community and communicate closely with residential students, supporting them in areas of co-curricular learning, counseling, conflict resolution, crisis management, mediation, discipline and leadership development.
A new bachelor of science degree in information technology will be offered beginning in the fall 2021 semester. The degree will replace the existing bachelor of science degree in information sciences and technology, which will be phased out over the next four years.

Shara McCallum, 2021-22 Penn State Laureate and Edwin Erle Sparks Professor of English, will visit Penn State Hazleton to read from her works and host a Q&A session on Thursday, Oct. 21. The event, which will take place at 12:15 p.m. in 115 Evelyn Graham Academic Building, is free and open to the public.
Penn State Hazleton on Saturday, November 13 at 9:30 a.m., will hold an open house for students to learn about the admissions process, tour the campus with Lion Ambassadors, meet faculty and talk with current Penn State students.
