Open-access textbook on the Holocaust co-edited by Hazleton sociology professor

An open educational resource textbook, “The Holocaust: Remembrance, Respect, and Resilience,” is now available for previewing by educators and learners. This preview edition is co-edited by Michael Polgar, Penn State Hazleton professor of sociology, and Suki John, Texas Christian University professor of classical and contemporary dance.

Molly Wertheimer retirement

Molly Wertheimer, a professor emerita of communication arts and sciences and women’s studies at Penn State Hazleton, celebrated her retirement in 2022 following a career at the campus that began in 1983.
