Open-access textbook on the Holocaust co-edited by Hazleton sociology professor

An open educational resource textbook, “The Holocaust: Remembrance, Respect, and Resilience,” is now available for previewing by educators and learners. This preview edition is co-edited by Michael Polgar, Penn State Hazleton professor of sociology, and Suki John, Texas Christian University professor of classical and contemporary dance.

Practical nurses graduate from Penn State Hazleton

Prospective students and their families are invited to visit Penn State Hazleton on Saturday, Feb. 4, for an open house featuring a presentation about all things Penn State, activities, specialized breakout sessions, a campus tour, lunch, and opportunities to have questions about academic programs, campus life and more answered by current students, faculty, and staff.
