In this role, the International Student Liaison offers an important connection between international students and the Office of Global Programs at University Park. The International Student Liaison is responsible for pre-arrival communication with incoming international students to assist in their transition to the campus.
Additionally, the International Student Liaison develops the campus’s International Student Orientation program and serves as an initial contact for questions or concerns that international students may have while they are at Penn State Hazleton.
With the help of additional staff, the International Student Liaison also organizes events to engage the international students on campus.
Committee for International Student Recruitment & Support
This committee includes faculty, staff, and students who work together to more effectively recruit international students, ease their transition to campus, and support them through their Penn State Hazleton student career. This committee is chaired by the International Student Liaison.
