HAZLETON, Pa. — Penn State Hazleton THON will host a designer purse bingo on Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Thomas M. Caccese Gymnasium in the Physical Education Building.
Doors open at noon and the first game begins at 1 p.m. Advance tickets are $20 and available in the Office of Student Engagement, Room 105 in the Butler Teaching and Learning Resource Center. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $25.
The group will also raffle tricky trays during the event. Food and beverages will be available for sale.
All proceeds from the bingo will benefit Penn State Hazleton’s THON chapter. THON — the Penn State Dance Marathon — is the largest student-led philanthropy effort worldwide, and the Hazleton group holds events and raises funds throughout the year to support children who are battling cancer and their families.
