HAZLETON, Pa. — Penn State Hazleton will host a Classroom Experience event for potential new students on Wednesday, March 14, beginning at 11 a.m.
Students will have the opportunity to spend a day as a Penn State Hazleton student. The day begins with an information session with admissions, before each participant will go to an actual class on campus with a current student.
While students are in class, parents will have the opportunity to hear from Karen Sofranko, advising manager, about ideas and tips to help their student and family transition from high school to college.
After the class, students can rejoin their parents, tour the scenic Hazleton campus and have lunch with students in Highacres Café, the full-scale food court located on campus where most students eat and catch up with friends.
