HAZLETON, Pa. — Penn State Hazleton honored employees marking milestones of employment during a luncheon at the campus, with faculty and staff members recognized for their service to the campus and the University.
Chancellor Gary Lawler and Director of Academic Affairs Elizabeth Wright presented the employees with gifts in recognition of their years of service.
Employees who were recognized during the luncheon include:
One year: Kristen Corcoran, student engagement coordinator: Daniel Gutierrez, instructor in administrator of justice; Garrett Huck, assistant professor of rehabilitation and human services; Kaitlyn Krasucki, career services coordinator: Abigail Myers, research technologist; Michael Strenchock, public safety officer; Kristin Vitacco, residence life coordinator; and Erin Whapham, athletic trainer.
Five years: Dale Osenbach, public safety officer; Jerry Pierce, assistant professor of history; and Karen Stylianides, instructor in kinesiology.
Ten years: Margaret Froehlich, associate professor of English; Valerie Lynn, head librarian; and Danielle Ruggiero, food preparer.
Fifteen years: Susan Bartal, assistant director of university relations; Pamela Black, associate professor of administration of justice; Paul Jaskierski, maintenance worker; Debra Jemo-Kobialka, counselor; Semyon Litvinov, associate professor of mathematics; Kathleen McGlynn, maintenance worker; and Barbara Trainor, janitorial worker.
Twenty years: Debra Conway, director of continuing education, and Bonnie Sukana, staff assistant.
Twenty-five years: Peter Crabb, professor of psychology; John Dovan, food service worker; and Karen Pcolinsky, food service and production worker.
Thirty-five years: Patricia Ferry, instructor in and coordinator of medical laboratory technology.
