Sending a 'We Are!' to these Penn Staters

As part of our regular "We Are!" feature, we recognize three Penn Staters who have gone above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University. Thank you Roxanne Shiels, Michele Foust and Todd Zook — and to everyone who helps make Penn State such an incredible community.

As part of our regular "We Are!" feature, we recognize three Penn Staters who have gone above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University. Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form. This week, we'd like say thank you on behalf of the entire University community to:

Roxanne Shiels, staff member with Penn State World Campus, whose nominator wrote: "Roxanne is nothing short of an amazing colleague who I have the absolute joy of collaborating with on an almost daily basis. She is always eager to talk through how to advance any ideas I may have and she is more than willing to help in any way that she can."

Michele Foust, staff member at Penn State Hazleton, whose nominator wrote: "Michele is the glue who keeps the Academic Affairs department at Penn State Hazleton together! She is always so patient, kind, positive, and hardworking. We are lucky to have her!"

Todd Zook, staff member with the Office of Physical Plant, whose nominator wrote: "I want to nominate Todd Zook and all the landscape team for the work they did to make campus beautiful for graduation. The campus looked beautiful despite the wet weather and late snows. The landscape crews do an amazing job day in and day out to give us such a beautiful place to work."

Thank you Roxanne, Michele and Todd — and to everyone who helps make Penn State such an incredible community!
