Neeli Bendapudi was named the 19th president of Penn State on Dec. 9, 2021, by the University's Board of Trustees. She is currently president of the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
The recently formed HPA (Health Policy and Administration) Club at Penn State Hazleton is an example of a club or organization that did not previously exist on campus that a student started on their own with help from Student Services and Engagement.
Penn State Hazleton's HPA Club is the latest example of a club or organization started by a student to meet their interests and is among an increasing number of newly formed and/or active groups for students to get involved with on campus.
The six-week virtual SAT prep course runs from Jan. 17 through March 3 and will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Topics include format of the SAT, how to prepare for it, and tips for taking the test.

The Hazleton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association and Penn State Hazleton Alumni Society recently spearheaded an effort to collect food products for Catholic Social Services in Hazleton and monetary donations for the Lion’s Pantry at Penn State Hazleton.
