An estate gift of more than $900,000 from longtime Penn State Hazleton benefactors Joseph and Evelyn Adams will further support two scholarships the late couple previously established at the campus.

Attendees recognized campus benefactor Linda Schiavo for her dedication to supporting the mission of Penn State Hazleton during a welcome luncheon for Chancellor Elizabeth J. Wright. Schiavo's late brother, Pasco L. Schiavo, is one of the largest benefactors in Penn State Hazleton history, with a commitment spanning nearly 60 years.
