Veterans from all branches of the United States Military held a giant American Flag on the field at Beaver Stadium during the playing of The Star Spangled Banner prior to the game between the Nittany LIons and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Penn State earned their seventh win of the 2016 season defeating Iowa 41-14.
On display through Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Penn State Hazleton Library, the traveling exhibit “Frankenstein: Penetrating the Secrets of Nature,” explores the birth of Frankenstein, the life of author Mary Shelley, the scientific search for the principle of life and the transformation of the “monster” in popular culture.
