Faculty Support

Support for faculty may be established in a variety of ways such as:

Professorship/Chair

Establishing a chair or professorship in a key curriculum (e.g. psychology, business management, philosophy etc,) may be the single most important initiative we could undertake for the long term vitality of Penn State Hazleton. Chairing an academic discipline with a renowned professor and developing the associated programming and facilities would create a magnet for the university to draw students and accomplished scholars, thus creating a multiplier effect. This would provide a substantial long term benefit for the university and the region.

Faculty Education Fund

Advancing the capacity of our most valued resource, our faculty, is of paramount importance for this campus. Both active and retired faculty continue their life-long commitment to learning through research, publication, and a wide variety scholarly endeavors.Your contributions to the Faculty Education Fund ensures the opportunity for our faculty to maintain and enhance the quality of the Penn State Hazleton education.

Eugene Miller Holocaust Fund

Dollars raised will be used to fund lectures, develop materials, and conduct other learning experiences to advance understanding of the Holocaust. This is to honor Dr. Eugene Miller, retired professor of history at Penn State Hazleton.
