High school students studying science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) are invited to participate in Penn State Hazleton’s fourth annual STEM Research Fair.
Penn State Hazleton will host a special performance by the international performing arts troupe Viva Kultura from 12:20 to 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22.
Students who earn an associate degree from Luzerne County Community College can directly transfer into bachelor’s programs at five eastern Penn State campuses, leaders of the institutions announced Feb. 27 at Penn State Hazleton.
Penn State Hazleton will hold information sessions for its practical nursing program from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, March 5, and from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4.
Andrew Belser, the Penn State laureate for the 2017-18 academic year, will visit Penn State Hazleton from March 14 to 16. His visit will include a display of his “FaceAge” project that is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be set up in the lobby of the Evelyn Graham Academic Building.
The Greater Hazleton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will host photos with the Easter Bunny and Nittany Lion from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on March 20.
