Faculty dedication, staff support and key resources are helping a group of Penn State Hazleton international students succeed as they adjust to college and a new country.
Many of John M. Nonnemacher's children followed in his footsteps as Penn State graduates. Pictured are (from left): John M. Nonnemacher, daughter-in-law Rebecca Nonnemacher, son Christian Nonnemacher, son Jonathan Nonnemacher and son-in-law Joey Natale.
John M. Nonnemacher (left, holding a piece of his old motorcycle with original Penn State Hazleton parking registration sticker) and Nick Skimbo (right) formed a bond that lasted even after Nonnemacher graduated from the University in 1979.
Decades after learning from him as a young student at Penn State Hazleton in the 1970s, John M. Nonnemacher continues to draw motivation and inspiration from late finance and accounting professor Nick Skimbo.
