Course Offerings
Throughout this 12-week preparation course, you will focus on how best to prepare for, study for, and take the PMP credential examination.
Included in the key areas of study will be topics such as project initiation, creating high-performing teams, collaboration with and engaging stakeholders, how to determine appropriate project methods and practices, managing the schedule and scope of a project, evaluating business and environment changes, and how to mitigate risks within the project. All of the topics are in line with the methodologies driven through PMI.
Successful completion of this course ensures that you'll meet the 35-hour education requirement in order to apply for and take the exam and that your education will not be subject to audit.
PMP Prerequisites and Exam Details
Our course is designed to prepare individuals for the PMP Exam. The PMP is highly recommended for experienced project managers looking to advance their skills, career, and earning potential. Candidates must meet education and experience requirements detailed below, agree to a professional code of conduct, and pass the PMP Exam.
Education and Experience Prerequisites
To apply for the PMP, you need to meet all education and experience prerequisites in one of the following two categories:
Category A
- General Education: Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
- Project Management Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of non-overlapping project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects
- Project Management Education: 35 hours of project management education
Category B
- General Education: A four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent)
- Project Management Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of non-overlapping project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
- Project Management Education: 35 hours of project management education
