Penn State Hazleton has a new all-time leading scorer in McKenzie Prutsman, who broke the record with her 1,785th career point in February. By the season’s end, Prutsman ended her career with 1,888 points, 369 assists and 337 steals, all of which are all-time records. She was named the PSUAC’s newcomer of the year for the 2015-16 season. She was named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American in each of her four years and was on the PSUAC All-Conference list each year. In her junior year, she was named Penn State Hazleton’s female student-athlete of the year. During her senior year, she set a single-season record with 679 points and 110 steals. She was named a second-team All-American in the USCAA and the PSUAC eastern division player of the year and was inducted into the Highacres Sports Hall of Fame.
