HAZLETON, Pa. — The Hazleton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is sponsoring a trip to a Philadelphia Phillies game on Sunday, Aug. 27, and the public is invited to join for “Hazleton Day.”
The group will travel to the 1:35 p.m. game featuring the Phillies versus the Chicago Cubs at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
The game has been designated as “Back to School Day,” with each child under age 14 in attendance receiving a Philadelphia Phillies alarm clock.
The cost is $69 per person and includes a game ticket, bagged lunch, and transportation to and from the game. The bus will depart at 9:30 a.m. from Lot A at Penn State Hazleton.
