On Wednesday, Oct. 20, Penn State Hazleton will host Fresh Check Day, an interactive health and wellness fair aimed at raising awareness of mental and physical health. The fair also will feature food, entertainment and giveaways.
A $7,500 grant will help the campus Student Success Center strengthen and expand its academic services in support of second-year students, including offering workshops on topics like stress management, learning strategies, effective communication, leadership and more.
Penn State Hazleton is encouraging students to protect themselves this flu season by taking advantage of a free flu vaccine clinic at the campus Health Center on Monday, Oct. 11.
Penn State Hazleton’s second-dose Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination clinic for students, employees, and anyone age 12 and older will be held Thursday, Sept. 30 for those who received the first dose at the Sept. 8 clinic. First doses will also be available to those who wish to become vaccinated.
