Whether you are interested in birth control, scheduling an annual exam, or discussing a health related concern, the Women's Health Clinic at Penn State Hazleton Health Services provides caring, confidential service to female Penn State students. Clinics will be held once monthly on a Tuesday afternoon. Clinic dates are posted on the blue screen or patients may call health services for clinic dates and appointments.
Health Services has partnered with Maternal and Family Health Services to offer health care to the female students on our campus. They offer programs that prevent disease and promote wellness with free or low cost services. Some of the services include complete gynecological exams, pregnancy tests, screening and treatment for STDs, and contraceptive products. All services are strictly confidential.
Our primary focus is on prevention, health promotion and education for the overall health and wellness of our students.
All sexually active women should have a yearly pelvic examination and screening for STDs.
