Medals will be awarded to the top three runners in various age groups for the 5K and Youth Run. All Cub Run participants will receive an award. All participants will receive a Penn State sport pack.
Registration fees are $25 for the 5K, $17 for the 1-mile Youth Race, and $10 for the Cub Run. All runners will receive breakfast at the Highacres Café, the campus dining hall, and will be served Penn State Creamery ice cream during the awards ceremony.
THON, short for the Penn State IFC/Pan-Hellenic Dance Marathon, is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. Penn State students spent almost one year fundraising with efforts culminating each February in a 46-hour dance marathon in the Bryce Jordan Center at the University Park campus. THON 2014 will take place on Feb. 21 to 23. All monies raised are donated to the Four Diamonds Fund at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
