Welcome Weekend 2013 schedule announced

Welcome Weekend 2013 information
8/5/2013 —

The schedule for Penn State Hazleton's 2013 "Welcome Weekend" for new and returning students has been announced by the Tracy Garnick, director of Student Services and Engagement. The new semester will begin with new students moving into their residence hall or area dwelling on Saturday, August 24, with information sessions and activities continuing through the weekend. Classes begin on Monday, August 26.

According to Garnick, the theme of Welcome Weekend 2013 is "Get Connected" which "encourages new students to explore academic and co-curricular opportunities, to become familiar with the university and the campus, and to meet the faculty and staff. All these opportunities provide students with a strong start to their college career while acclimating to college life."
