The Practical Nursing Program will prepare individuals with the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes essential for practical nursing practice and the knowledge necessary to pass the NCLEX-PN. The program is an 18-month, non-credit program that awards a certificate upon graduation. This program prepares individuals to work in doctor's offices, clinics, home health care agencies, nursing homes, insurance companies, hospice services, community services and educational institutions. Tuition for 18 months is $14,000.00. Additional fees include the application fee of $75.00, which includes the fee for the entrance exam, retesting fee of $40.00, if application; Certified Background $95.00; FBI Clearance $27.50; Child Abuse Clearance $10.00; Physical Exam fee (personal practitioner's fees); Health Insurance (personal health insurer's fees); Malpractice Insurance (insurer's fees); nursing shoes (variable); drug test $40.00; and any fees involving immunizations or lab fees (variable).
